Webinar: Culturally Inclusive Nutrition Care for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Culturally Inclusive Nutrition Care for Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) often requires specialized nutrition interventions, yet some approaches can unintentionally exclude or overlook the cultural significance of traditional foods and eating practices. This session will explore how to provide culturally inclusive nutrition therapy for individuals with IBD, empowering patients/clients to manage symptoms and prevent malnutrition while incorporating their cultural food traditions. Attendees will learn practical strategies to modify IBD diets in a way that supports patients’ cultural identity and food heritage.
