September Watch Party – Eating Disorders in Fat, Trans & Gender-Expansive People

For this month’s Watch Party, we are watching Eating Disorders in Fat, Trans & Gender-Expansive People, originally presented by SJ Belmonte, MSW, CSWA in March 2024.

This webinar will focus on exploring how societal gender roles and discrimination impact transgender, non-binary and gender expansive clients of size. ADHD and eating disorder recovery coach and equity consultant SJ Belmonte seeks to challenge gender ideals and gender conformity, facilitate understanding of participant’s gender biases, and provide practical tools to support clients. We will be going beyond asking for client’s pronouns and gender-neutral bathrooms to explore the deeper and unique clinical considerations for clients who are not thin and cisgender.
