Webinar: Supporting Vegan Clients Without a Side of Diet Culture BS
Over the past few decades, veganism has become tightly connected with diet culture and can sometimes be a sign of disordered eating or a socially accepted way to be dieting. However, the vegan movement doesn’t have to be all about “performing health” and masking a troubled relationship with food. In fact, it’s possible to align the anti-diet approach (including intuitive eating) with veganism—this webinar aims to equip RDs with the tools to do just that!
We will discuss:
- What veganism is really all about
- Ways to evaluate the “why” behind choosing veganism (and screen for disordered eating)
- Ideas and tools for aligning veganism with intuitive eating
- Nutrition considerations for vegans (ex B12, protein, etc.)
All registrants will receive access to the webinar recording, transcript, and resources.
