This webinar will engage in conversations as to why men experience significant health stigma in society, why men often feel isolated when it comes to disclosing anything health-related, and finally, will uncover shocking statistics connecting an increase in various health issues in men.

    Bhavin Mistry

    Bhavin Mistry (he/him) is a newly registered dietitian based in Ontario, Canada. He completed the Master of Applied Nutrition program at the University of Guelph in summer 2021. Shortly after, he received his license and kickstarted his dream career. Bhavin has worked in multiple settings as a dietetic professional, including long-term care, primary care, and home healthcare. Currently, Bhavin works as a home & community care dietitian, specializing in a pediatric population for the Brant region. In addition, Bhavin holds a position as a dietitian for a small, rural medical clinic in Elmira where he primarily focuses on chronic disease management, healthy eating, balanced nutrition, and providing evidence-based nutrition information in a primary care setting. Bhavin looks forward to continuing to his journey as a dietitian and is hopeful for a positive future of the dietetics profession.
