Through caring nutrition sessions, it becomes apparent that this person is living with an eating disorder, or variations thereof. In this webinar, Shawna will walk you through important criteria to consider when you are supporting your client/patient take the brave steps towards healing their relationship with food and body. Shawna Melbourn is a Registered Dietitian (RD), a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian and an Approved Supervisor (CEDRD-S) with the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. Shawna is rooted in a non-diet approach and has walked beside individuals and families as they take the brave steps towards recovery from eating disorders, disordered eating, and other eating challenges.
Shawna is the founder and creator of ED for RDs: Eating Disorder EDucation for Registered Dietitians. This online, in-depth training for dietitians supports the shift from feeling uncertain to a place of competence in nutrition therapy for eating disorder support and care.
